WORK
January - June 2016
Borderless Imaginary, Tar and Feathers
MobileIntent traveled to East Bay sites with a series of site specific installations, performances and videos exploring the poetics of borders and distribution of resources, and the collision between tenderness and greed. Sculptural works, performance and video for the painful embarrassment of proximal realities on a singular planet, the contents of a Gucci bag versus a refugee’s knapsack, dung beetles and snowy white egrets, all trying to navigate the night time skies. Sculptural work and direction by Ann Schnake, performance by Carmen Serber and Natalie Greene, video by Robert Gomez Hernandez.
