projection with metal parts , yarn
This installation explores a domesticity run amuck; in an era of foreclosures and consolidation of wealth, forty percent of the US economy is now based in finance, that nebulous territory of derivatives and futures. Useful objects now have turned into gesture, unraveling knit items placed with post industrial debris. In this body of work, I’ve placed them as reconstructions in the wake of their upheaval.
