Poetics of Potatoes
Installation and performance

Berkeley Art Center, 2014

An installation of stitched and manipulated potatoes along with the emblematic traveling sculptural works  of wooden limbs, tent structures, and medical paraphernalia such as rubber tubing created a potato machine at Berkeley Art Center,  activated in  a performance with Javier Hurtado, Carmen Serber, Guillermo Galindo, Caro Novella, and CoiCoi Duncan. What first appeared to be an artists talk between Ann Schnake and Aimee Le Duc devolves as Guillermo answers with sounds rather than words, and boundaries between audience, performers, potatoes also began to break down.
